EirGrid and SONI have today published a Recommendations Paper on the Procurement of Low Carbon Inertia Services (LCIS) - Phase 2. https://cms.eirgrid.ie/sites/default/files/publications/LCIS-Recommenda… In this paper we set out our recommendations on the requirements, contractual and procurement arrangements for the LCIS Phase 2 procurement process that is expected to commence in 2026.
