DS3 System Services Locational Scalars: Implementation
Proposal

As part of EirGrid and SONI’s role in monitoring current
and potential future spend on system services, the TSOs
recognise the potential for an increase in the costs of
system services. In response to this, we have today
published an information note on DS3 system services
expenditure.

This consultation proposes limited changes to the procurement
of DS3 System Services (Volume Uncapped) to mitigate some
financial risk that service providers may have encountered due
to COVID-19.

This document is a guide to various elements associated with carrying out the testing required to apply for DS3 System Services.

This Checklist is to be submitted with each System Services report
to ensure all required aspects of a complete report are met.

The System Services Scope Document is submitted by the tendering
unit and outlines the services the unit wishes to contract for.
