Static Magnetic Fields and the East West Interconnector
The East West Interconnector utilises a Direct Current (DC) system which produces
low level static magnetic fi elds. Some people have questioned whether there are
health risks from the Interconnector. We would like to reassure you that there are
no health concerns in relation to the East West Interconnector.
