Shaping Our Electricity Future

This paper sets out the TSOs' recommendations to the SEMC for the DASSA Top-up Mechanism, as an alternative to the Final Assignment Mechanism (FAM) as per the SEMC Decision SEM-24-066. This paper reflects the feedback received on the DASSA Top-up Mechanism Consultation Paper through stakeholders’ written responses and input to the industry workshop, and also summarises that feedback and provides the TSOs’ commentary in response.

As part of the ongoing work to develop Future Arrangements for System Services, EirGrid and SONI have been working with our partner AFRY for an independent 'Needs Analysis' assessment of a DASSA Top-up Mechanism. This report should be read in conjunction with the TSOs' DASSA Top-up Mechanism Recommendations Paper.
