This document sets out the standard transmission charges and
timelines for some asset classes to be used by EirGrid when
issuing offers for connection to the transmission system.
These charges are updated annually to reflect the change in
Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), as published by
the Central Bank of Ireland.

This document summaries the research and development phase,
the core concepts of firm access allocation, the details of
the new methodology and the next steps.

Today, EirGrid has announced the successful community groups
and not-for-profit organisations near the new Clashavoon
Dunmanway electricity line to receive a total of €600,000 in
funding.

The policy sets out the connection options available to
customers to connect to the transmission network and outlines
the policy principles and criteria for Customers to connect
directly to an existing substation (commonly known as “An
over/under the fence connection”).
