Grid Development

This document aims to respond to the questions and comments raised over the course of the Powering Up Offshore – South Coast Project Step 3 Consultation, which ran from 12 November 2024 to 24 January 2025. The questions below have been collated and grouped from in person information events, fisheries briefings, webinars, email and online submissions, with responses provided by EirGrid.

This report provides a summary of the engagement and consultation activities carried out by EirGrid at Step 3 – “What is the Best Option and What Area Might Be Affected” of Powering Up Offshore - South Coast and the findings from an independent review of all responses and feedback received. This feedback will be considered by EirGrid as it proceeds to Step 4 - “Where Exactly Should We Build” of Powering Up Offshore - South Coast.
