In order to strengthen the electricity network in the east of Meath and the north of Dublin, EirGrid is proposing to develop a high-capacity 400 kV underground electricity cable between Woodland substation, near Batterstown in Co Meath, and Belcamp substation, near Clonshaugh in north Dublin.
